How long does waxing actually last compared to shaving?

Most clients need 3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart for significant changes in scarring/texture. You’ll glow after one, but true collagen remodeling takes time—no instant-miracle promises here.
Is dermaplaning just shaving my face?
Kind of—but done professionally it’s medical-grade exfoliation that removes dead skin and peach fuzz, instantly smoothing skin and improving product penetration. DIY with a regular razor risks cuts and infection.
I have really sensitive skin. Can I still get waxed?
Yes—and you should stick to professional waxing. I use hypoallergenic wax and can do a patch test. Sensitive-skin DIY is where disasters happen: burns, reactions, broken capillaries.
What should I do about ingrown hairs after waxing?
Start gentle exfoliation 2–3 days post-wax (not immediately), keep skin moisturized despite our dry climate, and avoid tight clothing right after. I’ll recommend products that work in Arizona—not generic one-size-fits-all.
