How to Prepare for Your Bikini Wax in Tucson

• Hair length: At least 1/4 inch long. If you've been shaving, stop two to three weeks before you book.
• Skip the lotion: Do not apply lotion, oil, or any product to the bikini area the day of your appointment.
• Exfoliate first: Gently exfoliate 24 to 48 hours before your appointment. Skip it the day of.
• Loose clothing: Wear comfortable, loose-fitting underwear or bottoms.
• Period timing: Try to book at least five days before or after your expected period. If you can't avoid it, wear a tampon or menstrual cup and let us know when you arrive.

What Actually Happens During Your Appointment

Here's exactly what happens when you walk into our treatment room at 2919 E Broadway Blvd:

1. You'll be in a clean, private room.
2. We cleanse the area before we start, removing any oils or residue that could interfere with the wax.
3. Warm hard wax is applied in sections. It goes on warm and firms up as it cools around the hair.
4. We remove it quickly, taking the hair from the root.
5. We work through the area in sections until it's done.
6. A post-wax soothing product is applied to calm the skin.

The whole thing takes 20 to 30 minutes. Most clients tell us the first appointment surprised them — they expected much worse. The more consistently you come in, the more comfortable each appointment gets.

Bikini Wax Aftercare in the Arizona Desert

Ingrown hairs are the most common complaint we hear from new clients. Here's the honest answer: they're mostly preventable. Exfoliate consistently between appointments. Keep the skin moisturized, especially in Tucson. And don't let too much time pass between bookings.
